For nearly two decades, Syron Design has served as the creative agency of record for Sea Tow Services International, guiding brand strategy, marketing, and digital communications for this national franchise organization. Functioning as an in-house creative director, Syron Design has shaped every facet of Sea Tow’s brand—from naming and architecture to national advertising, digital ecosystems, and content creation.

The Challenge

As Sea Tow continued to grow nationwide, the brand needed to maintain a unified identity, communicate the value of membership, and deliver marketing that elevated franchise performance in local markets. The challenge was twofold:

Build a powerful, cohesive brand system that communicates trust, expertise, and the for boaters who believe that at some point they’ll need help on the water, Sea Tow is the local hero who gives them peace of mind by delivering expert service with integrity and respect.

Produce a steady stream of high-quality content—photo, video, digital advertising, and storytelling—that resonates with boaters across diverse regions and platforms.

The Story of Sea Tow Content Creation & National Marketing

An evolving, multi-year investment in brand authenticity and digital reach.

Consumers spend an average of 516 minutes per day consuming digital content—more than 8.5 hours daily. In this environment, content is no longer optional. It is a survival requirement for competitive brands. If a company cannot show up online in a meaningful, compelling way, competitors will win both the attention and the business.

Sea Tow’s national brand strategy, developed and led by Syron Design, focuses on cutting through digital clutter with authentic, emotionally resonant content. At the center of this strategy are the brand’s photo and video shoots.

Building the Content Engine

In 2010, Syron Design selected Sea Tow’s brand photographer and began shaping the visual language of the company. Over time, this team expanded to include cinematography, drone operation, and in-water videography, enabling the brand to capture the full experience of on-water assistance.

To date, Syron Design has served as creative director for 12 national photoshoots, coordinating months of planning, talent sourcing, logistics, shot-list development, weather calls, and editorial curation. These shoots are often unpredictable and logistically challenging—but that volatility produces the authentic content needed to tell real stories of real Sea Tow Captains, operating from sunrise to sunset.

The result: A powerful national asset library that fuels every brand touchpoint. These assets fueled:

  • Membership brochures
  • Google Ads campaigns
  • Franchise-level digital advertising
  • Email marketing
  • Social media campaigns

  • Video campaigns and national initiatives

Each video is optimized in four unique sizes – to optimize each platform for organic vs. paid advertising. Every piece is measured, analyzed, refined, and improved—creating a feedback loop that strengthens performance year after year.
